I myself has got into trouble few months ago. I am using Yahoo Small Business for 5 years hosting our family business. It a big leap for our company going online as we get a lot of customers abroad. Recently, we get another domain to increase traffic and host it in Yahoo. After a year of hosting on my second site, yahoo increase the rate by 350% without informing me. This is unacceptable for us so we contact yahoo to the best we can but they never replied back.

We talk to our bank to protect us from unreasonable charges made by Yahoo to only realized that they terminate the service to all our domains. We cant log in to our emails and we cant transfer our domain. They do this without informing us. We’ve tried to contact them and they finally reply back by just saying they can do anything about it.

Three months from now, we havent get the domain back and we completely loose our email. My company started with a new site and people start coming in again.

So, to all who plan to use Yahoo Small Business… better think again. They have poor customer support and if you read their TOS, you will realize you cant do anything. You are at their mercy.
